Doctorate of Divinity
| The Beloved Community now has an affiliation with the Association for the Integration of the Whole Person (www.aiwp.org) and two Universities that they sponsor: The University of the Association for the Integration of the Whole Person, (UAIWP), which offers a Doctor of Divinity degree and the University for Integrative Learning (UIL) which offers either a Doctorate of Divinity degree or a Ph.D. in Spiritual Peacemaking. |

Prerequisite:
- Each student must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree (may obtain degree from UAIWP/UIL if you do not already possess this degree from another University or College)
- Each student must have obtained a Master’s of Divinity Degree through the Beloved Community Seminary of Spiritual Peacemaking.
Doctorate Program Requirements:
A minimum of 114 program units are required for graduation. Each student will enter the Doctorate program with 54 units earned through the Beloved Community Seminary of Spiritual Peacemaking Masters Program. The additional 60 units are broken down as follows:
- 20 units will be obtained by the written requirements from The Beloved Community
- 40 units will be obtained in various other ways:
- Transcripted courses from other colleges or universities.
- Life learning gained through courses verified by the Americn Council on Education (ACE) and equivalencies as well as workshops, seminars, training programs and other courses you can document through course essays that you will review with your University provost.
- Learning experiences arising from non-traditional means in your living, working, and professional environment
- Dissertation completed in last semester of program (no units will be earned for this component of the program)
Program Cost
$50 application fee.
$9000.00 or $8,500.00 if tuition is paid in full at start of program. This cost is $3000 less than going through UAIWP/UIL direct, and is only being offered to graduates of The Beloved Community’s Seminary Masters of Divinity Program. Program Completion Options
There are 3 program options for completion depending on the needs of the student. Each semester is 4 months long. Beloved Community Students pay for a total of 3 semesters, regardless of which track they choose.
1. Fast Track: completion in 3 semesters or 12 months
2. Regular Track: completion in 4 semesters, or 16 months
3. Extended Track: completion in 5 semesters or 20 months
